Graduation Filming Services

We film each ceremony with three cameras; 2 operated and one fixed camera. Coverage from each camera is vision mixed live which means we can output live to screens or monitors; this is ideal at large venues where views are restricted.

We capture the atmosphere and events of the entire day, not just the ceremony. We therefore offer two services to graduates- On the Day DVD and/or Full production DVDs.

We also provide a free copy of each ceremony for the university’s records and an additional copy for each Honorary fellow or degree awarded.

Full Production

This premium service is a fully edited production with extended features. Our camera crew film throughout the event filming additional scenes; these include exteriors of the venue, arrivals of friends & family, robing, celebrations & other scenes. In addition, we invite the Chancellor, Principal or senior University figure to provide a ‘welcome’ message as an introduction to the DVD. We believe these scenes help to capture the day’s events and create a lasting memory for graduates and their time at university. Full Production DVDs or Videos are posted to the graduate soon after the event.

On The Day DVD

Our extremely popular ‘On the Day’ service allows graduates to take their copy of the ceremony home with them. This service includes the entire ceremony and introduction by Chancellor, Principal or key-note speaker,and venue scenes prior to the event.
This service is available shortly after the ceremony finishes- usually within 10 minutes.

Graduation Ceremony Webcasting

Webcasting allows each ceremony to be distributed to a global audience across the web and is very popular with overseas students and their families. Many people have heard of 'Pod casting'; a way to distribute audio across the web: Webcasting works in much the same way but delivers Video and Audio. We offer both a Live service broadcast instantly from your venue or Almost Live where each ceremony is uploaded to our servers after the event for on-demand viewing.

Live

Each ceremony will be broadcast LIVE across the web and then left on the web for a duration of your choosing. This is an excellent way to deliver to those who were unable to make the ceremony in person such as overseas students’ families and friends. Planning is key to a live webcast and our team will liaise with you to ensure all possible scenarios have been accounted for. We will also deal directly with venues and their technical staff to ensure smooth operations on the day. We can do this on your behalf to assist in your time management.

Almost Live

Our costs saving alternative to ‘Live webcasting’ is similar to Live webcasting however, the video will be uploaded after the event. Although typically the following day, this can be as little as 2 hours after the ceremony and will still allow viewers from all over the world to watch on-demand. The benefit to you is that a specialist webcasting technician is not required during the event. As with the ‘Live’ service, we will happily liaise with technical staff and venues to ensure the event is a success.

We can provide the video in your preferred format for hosting on your own site or we can create a webpage to host your webcast on our dedicated servers ensuring flexibility, reliability and value. There are no hidden costs but simply a flat fee plus the cost of any bandwidth you use (this is dependant on the number of viewers).

We offer photographic services that can work alongside our video teams or independently to take high resolution photographs of the graduates as they cross the stage. To ensure satisfaction, Graduates are able to check their pictures immediately after the ceremony on our large monitors and our ultra fast printers can produce their prints at the event literally 'On Demand'.

Graduates are also able to view and order their digital photographs from our website using secure payment facilities. Our online gallery was the first in the UK to enable Graduates to view high resolution photographs of themselves and their friends being presented on stage.
