PricewaterhouseCoopers approached First Sight Media to make a film of a team building exercise.
Details
The First Sight Media cameras followed PWC teams on a themed treasure hunt after a breakfast meeting at their HQ in London. Later in the day, working with a choreographer, the teams had to rehearse and perform songs at a recording studio.
Benefit
The overall aim of the film was to provide a memento of the day, to use as part of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ recruitment activity. It was also to be shown at team meetings and to provide Company reference copies.
Dalai Lama
Lecture Tour
Brief
Liverpool John Moores University asked us to film a lecture by the Dalai Lama at Liverpool Anglican Cathedral.
Details
The Dalai Lama was to be made an Honorary Fellow of the University at a Ceremony at Liverpool Anglican Cathedral. The Dalai Lama was then to give a lecture at the venue. First Sight Media supplied a three camera team and vision mixer. Plasma screens were provided for those with restricted views. The filming set-up required sensitivity in this busy place of Worship, with discrete camera and crew placement.
Benefit
Filming the day enabled the capacity audience to see the proceedings clearly via the plasma screens. The dvd of both events allowed this occasion to shared more widely.
Heinz
Global Food Company
Brief
Heinz were involved in a product launch and team building exercise at a conferencing and leisure facility and asked First Sight Media to provide a record of the event.
Details
Unobtrusive filming was required during the product launch as available space was at a premium. The following team building event took place over a large area and involved water sports and land based activities. Creativity was required during filming to capture the diverse and simultaneous competitions.
Benefit
Heinz were able to maximise the occasion by utilising the film in-house to inform and motivate those not directly involved in the day.

EDGETECH IG
Industry Conference
Brief
To produce a recording of a large seminar with numerous presenters and guest speakers, whilst incorporating a sequence of laptop presentations
Details
Edgetech IG, the leading warm-edge technology manufacturers of thermal resistant, insulating glass edge-seal products, hosted a conference at the Ricoh Arena for 40 leading manufacturers in the secondary glazing industry. The event brought manufacturers who normally compete head to head together for the first time.
FSM were contracted to provide a live mix 3 camera solution, incorporating a number of PowerPoint presentations from guest speakers into the production. A complete interactive DVD presentation was commissioned to incorporate the conference recording, with additional complementary footage.
Benefit
Edgetech IG used the DVD presentation to inform those delegates who were unable to attend the seminar and as a promotional tool. The Company also won 2 awards for their products and were pleased to say our production was a contributing factor.
