BROADCAST YOUR EVENT GLOBALLY

First Sight Media expand web broadcasting facilities to meet the demands of the live event and conference market.

First Sight Media have been providing webcasting & broadcasting services for a range of companies and educational establishments for some years. They are pleased to announce an expansion of the service to the live event and conference market.

The advantages of using live broadcast
Webcasting your event live
instantly reaches a global audience – sending television pictures over the Internet.

Video can be played full screen, or as part of a well designed webpage on the computer.

This service enables the viewer to enjoy the event from the comfort of their desk or at home which in turn saves the organiser time and money flying in overseas delegates. This means exhibitors; marketers and conference hosts can extend the reach of their event and services to an audience who would otherwise not hear their message.

Using the latest technology, First Sight can allow the speaker or organiser to interact with the delegates watching remotely around the world.

The webcast is then immediately available on the client’s website for “On Demand” viewing once the event is over, permitting delegates to see the day’s events once more and for a new audience to take part at a time of their choosing.

Webcasting technologies run on all modern computers using familiar & built in technologies like Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player – products that are already installed on the majority of computer systems in use in the world. Broadband internet penetration now means that even domestic users in their homes can access live and on demand webcasts – something that was only a dream just a few years ago.

And with advances in computer technology, such as Intel Centrino, and high powered laptop computing, First Sight Media are able to use small portable broadcast quality equipment on location to capture, record and transmit events onto the Internet, where only a few years ago large Outside broadcast trucks would have been required. And with the technical progress, comes lower costs. Internet Television transmission costs only a fraction of traditional broadcast TV.

“Many companies are daunted by the prospect of broadcasting an event live. In some cases they assume the costs would be too prohibitive. We specialise in making the whole process as simple and easy as possible. Anyone globally on the internet with a computer could view the event live. It has greater viewing potential than any terrestrial or cable television station. ” enthuses Tom Sykes, Sales Director.

INTERACTIVE BUSINESS CARDS

pdf linkThe Pocket sized website.

The innovative multimedia marketing tool

CD business cards offer you the chance to present your organisation in a variety of interactive ways. These are far more informative than standard printed business cards. This revolutionary product is essentially a business-card-sized CD-ROM’s that can play in any computer CD drive, giving you the ideal platform from which to present your business.

Advantages of using an Interactive card.

The interactive card can link directly to additional information on your company website when used conjunction with a pc connected to the Internet.

For example, you may have a company video on the card and a link to your latest products and prices. As we all know, products and prices change on a regular basis, if these run from a web application, the information never goes out of date saving time and money printing new brochures.

“An interactive card is generally a more cost effective solution than printing brochures and traditional business cards. They have a long shelf life and are far more durable and hard wearing than one would expect. It has less chance of being lost beneath a pile of paper, and is more likely to be shown to other people, because of the novelty factor.” Describes Tom Sykes, the company’s Sales Director.

Anything that can be digitised can be put onto these discs containing the capacity of 40 standard floppy discs. That’s 50mb! You can show everything a potential client needs to know about your business, from a full company presentation, through to details of products and services, to interactive location maps and automatic links to your company's web site.

As the card is so small it’s a discreet and dynamic way of introducing your company and services as well providing the recipient with all the information found on a normal business card.

“Video is a powerful way of introducing yourself to a new or existing client and many of our customers utilize this feature when producing their card”

enthuses Paul Hooper, Technical Director.

First Sight Media also offer the solution on personalised USB flash cards / drives. The main content can be locked allowing the user to benefit from the additional re usable storage space that the flash card provides.
