Brief
Sony Ericsson were launching a new WAP phone attended by the National Press and wanted to record the promotional event at Londons’ Victoria train station at peak time.
Details
Sony Ericsson and their agents wanted to produce a short, fast paced, attention grabing promotional film of the event. This was achieved through the use of sped-up time-lapse filming techniques. Fast paced music coupled to camera movement gave a dynamic result.
Benefit
The film enabled Sony Ericsson to promote the WAP phone through an efficient medium on demand. It also allowed them to assess the interest shown by the public in the product in a high traffic venue.
P&O Developments
Commercial Property Developers
Brief
To document the external and internal refurbishment of Botleys Mansion in Chertsey, Middlesex together with the internal creation of office space. Additionally to record development of the associated parkland.
Details
P&O Developments asked First Sight Media to create a video diary month on month of the complete parkland area regeneration covering tens of acres. This area finally encompassed Grade 2 listed Botleys Mansion, Hillswood Business Park and public access areas including walk and cycle ways. The mansion craftsmen and landscaping contractors were filmed both on large and detailed levels.
Benefit
The diary enabled P&O Developments to keep track on the project time scale and provide a marketing tool to assist in pitching for future projects.
Eli Lilly
Pharmaceutical Manufacturer
Brief
First Sight Media were asked through Eli Lily’s promotional agency to produce a film suitable for television broadcast to launch a new product to combat Sepsis.
Details
The production involved recording interviews with doctors, clinicians and patients, together with on ward patient situations with Doctors in the UK and Belgium. Filming of round table discussions were also required, plus product pack shots. These components were edited into sections and separated with titles. English and French Language versions were commissioned.
Benefit
The various interviews and discussions were edited and presented so as to enable television stations to access the relevant clips discussing the product in an easy fashion. This enabled the product to attract maximum air time.
World Travel Market
Environmental Debate
Brief
To film a debate at Earls Court Exhibition Centre.
Details
Interested parties involved in the World Travel Market event at Earls Court required the filming of a debate on travel related issues impacting on the environment. A low key recording style allowed delegates to participate in the event, whilst feeling relaxed in front of the camera.
Benefit
The film enabled delegates unable to attend the event to review the issues discussed.
